Despite the name, East Coast Towing & Transport is a NATIONAL transporter. What started with regular Melbourne-to-Brisbane runs (that are still the core of the business) has expanded to cover the length and breadth of Australia – from top to bottom and coast to coast.

Services Offered
East Coast Towing & Transport spacialise in transporting high-end classics, show cars, hot rods and other specialty vehicles. Unlike some other vehicle transporters using double-deck car carrier trailers, East Coast offers flat-deck or enclosed trailer options that carry two cars each. This boutique approach allows an extra level of care to be applied to the handling and transport of your vehicle that mass carriers can’t offer.
East Coast Towing & Transport pick up and deliver nationwide, including Tasmania, with their enclosed 2-car trailer used exclusively on Tasmania, WA and NT runs for extra protection. They can also deliver project and non-operational cars into NSW (check NSW laws regarding transport of non-running vehicles out of NSW).
FAQs
Booking transport – Simply call Bailey at East Coast Towing & Transport on 0408 107 425, or reach out via the website. It’s recommended you book your transport 2 to 4 weeks in advance, as last-minute or urgent requests may not be able to be accommodated.
Insurance - All vehicles sent with East Coast Towing & Transport are fully insured while in their care. However, it’s recommended that customers do have their own insurance.
Pickup/Delivery - East Coast Towing & Transport can provide door-to-door service, meaning your vehicle isn’t held in storage while other vehicles are collected. It also means your vehicle stays on the trailer from start to finish. If road/access issues prevent door-to-door delivery, East Coast will work with you to find a suitable alternative.
Frequency – Melbourne-Brisbane runs are conducted weekly, with Sydney pickups and drop offs incorporated into this. Melbourne to other major cities and capitals beyond the east coast (especially SA, WA and FNQ) are conducted less frequently, so take this into account when booking your transport.
Turnaround – Vehicles can be sent from Melbourne-Sydney in as little as 8 hours and up to 24 hours (on business days). Melbourne-Brisbane runs can be done in 1-2 business days, with no more than 4 business days for delivery from Melbourne to Adelaide, Cairns, Perth or Darwin (on business days, road and weather conditions permitting).
Low Cars – East Coast Towing & Transport can handle lowered vehicles, like slammed show cars and race cars. Both their trailer options are specifically designed to load and move vehicles with ground clearance as low as 50mm.
Enclosed Transport - NEW!
While open, flat-deck trailers are perfectly fine for vehicle transportation, East Coast Towing & Transport understand that owners of supercars, rare classics and big-dollar show cars don’t want their vehicles exposed to the elements, along with the potential for damage from stones and other road debris, so they now offer an enclosed trailer option.
Added to the fleet in September, the enclosed trailer is of 2-car capacity, but with full weather protection. This option also provides greater security. The trailer has no signage or identification, so very expensive cars can travel anonymously.
It should be noted that selecting the enclosed trailer carries a premium over the flat-deck trailer, due to the greater level of protection offered.
