Introducing Stanley, the 1950 Bedford Long Wheel Base truck. This OL Bedford is 99% original. Motor and Chassis same as day one from GM Holdens factory. Brakes are fully functional and has all new tyres (as per picture). The engine is solid and has been well cared for. It starts and runs like it should. New carby kit, no radiator leaks or oil leaks. Gearbox performs as expected. Oil/lubes have been changed in engine, transmission and drive train. Cabin has no rust, interior seat and floor has been restored. Windscreen rubber new and new wiper motor. Rear timber tray is of the period and patina is all natural. All lights are working. Vehicle is at a state to be presented for RWC for historical/club registration. I bought Stanley at the start of 2023 with the intention of finishing off his restoration but my circumstances have changed and this is no longer able to happen, so Stanley is looking for a new home. Currently housed in a closed shed, Stanley was driven relatively regularly up until the last couple of years. It needs a mechanically minded person to work a bit on him. The seats have been professionally covered in cowhide. The tray is in pretty good condition but the type of thing that could do with some work to get it looking great. I paid $13,500 for this truck.
