Its known history is that it spent time as a fruit truck in Renmark and then out on a farm in Sandlewood, but now it is suited best to a life on the road. Powered by a 214ci (3.5L) 6-cylinder, the Bedford is attached to a 4-speed non-synchro manual transmission. The Bedford is also equipped with PTO and a tip tray. Restored approximately 10 years ago, the owners invested roughly $40,000 in transforming the Bedford into what you see today. The cab has been repainted with custom sign writing on the side, along with a full motor rebuild. The tray has been modified to a camper/mobile mechanic set-up. The canopy folds out nicely to provide shade over the toolboxes, with a workbench, multiple batteries, multiple power outlets, dual fuel tanks and a water tank. The tray is also kitted out with two single beds, with plenty of space for a fridge or any other appliances. GVM rated at 4.5 tonnes, the Bedford can be driven on a standard car licence and is eligible for historic registration.
